Question:
I am trying to plan my 21st birthday party?
I have no idea what to do for my party. I have currently been thinking of a cruise but I live in geelong and the boats aren't really fancy. I could hire a fancy one in melbourne but then have to hire a bus to get everyone there and back, this isn't out of the question but I dont know if people would like the thought of 2 hours on a bus. I want to it be quite formal and classy, I want the dress code to be formal but I want the party to be something everyone remembers. I was thinking a really classy venue but again all the classy places are in melbourne. Another option is an afternoon outdoors party at a winery or something but i dont know. I want it to be formal and classy but still want eveyone to have a few drinks and dance and have a great time. I want something extravagant, and at the moment am not looking at the cost, not that I have unlimited money.
Can anyone think of any great parties they have been to? Or any ideas for mine?

Get wasted save money
I think going to the winery is your best idea. People could get dressed up and drink and maybe you could have a bit of dancing and you could hang paper lanterns up in the trees around the party outside. I would suggest hiring taxi's so your guest could get home safely.
The boat is a bad idea. People will get sick and be throwing up bc of the motion of the boat. Also who wants to sit on a bus ride 2 hours each way. No thanks
