Should I pay for dinner since I made the reservations?!

Question: Should I pay for dinner since I made the reservations?
Were having a girls night out, out of town and I invited a couple of friends to go with me. I than made dinner reservations and I'm wondering if I'm expected to pay since I picked the restaurant and made the reservations.

Answers:

Just because you made reservations, does not mean you are responsible for the bill. Usually "girls nite out" means everyone is responsible for their own bill.

If you invited your friends to dinner, then, yes, you would be responsible for the bill.

If you are uncertain about your situation, please, get in touch with your friends and ask them what they think this nite out is about as far as the bill is concerned. This way all will be at ease that nite and it will be a more enjoyable situation.

They should all share the bill. But just for not knowing to use THEN instead of than, you should be punished.

Than is for one or the other. "I'll pick this one than picking that one."

Then denotes time or steps. "First, I'l pick this one, then I'll pick that one later."

Although you made the reservations you shouldn't be entitled to pay. You friends should know that they should know that they have to pay their share. That's my opinion on it

If you invited them then yes you are expected to pay unless you already have an understanding that everyone pays for their own.

well you could send out an email explaining you want to split the bill!

no
