Pasta salad is easy and always a favorite and comes in a box so eveything you need is right there, but it's still homemade.

Chicken!! ALWAYS GOOD FOR A PICNIC! HAVE FUN AND GOD BLESS YOU! BYE

sandwiches! make some with jam lettuce, tomatos and some of chiken and some with cream and salt =)

devils' food cake.

Deviled eggs ALWAYS seem to be a hit - just don't make the mistake of using too much mayo or they'll just go to waste. Also good to set them on a bag of ice to keep them cool. Fudge cake seems to be one of first deserts to vanish, too.

Cucumber sandwiches

Jim Jones Kool-Aid

cupcakes or cole slaw.

make sandwiches and cut them in quarters. Use differant meats, even if they don't eat them all, you can always take them home and feed the kids with the leftovers. Make a small tray this time. Or take strawberries and some kind of dip.

Get some dill pickle spears, cream cheese and dried beef......Put cream cheese on the dried beef and wrap it around the pickle.........Simple and everybody loves them............Have fun!!!!

cantaloupe watermelon grapes
sprinkle with a little lemon juice

What about pasta salad? Just mix pasta with some Kraft Zesty Italian salad dressing and dice up any veggies you'd like it in. Usually cucumbers and olives work best I think. Sometimes peppers are good too because they add color, or little tomatoes. . .whatever you like. . .Sprinkle the top with some cheese and you're done. Easy, and great for a picnic.

cookies

I really like macaroni salad. Its pretty simple,,just boil the macaroni as directed on the box add miracle whip, celery, bell pepper, and tomato. What ever you want really. You can also by ranch pasta salad by Kraft at any supermarket.

buy some large flour tortillas and spread mayo on them, then deli meat, then cheese, and some sprouts, anything you like... and then spread some mustard, oil vinnegar, and salt& pepper, to your taste. Then roll it up in a log, quite tightly... put in the fridge overnight. Beofre you go to the picknick, cut pieces of 1/2 inch like sandwiches... arrange them tightly flat down in a tray and build upon them until done. They'll be a hit!
And, have fun!

try cookies, or a graden salad, simple enough easy enough, plus you don't have to worry about the food going bad in the sun.

i have been to allot of church suppers, and i see Shepherd's pie on the table-

The allrecipes.com site is great for finding recipes. You can search by ingredient, title, rating, etc. Users will rate recipes and give suggestions for tweaking. I use it all the time.

Oh, and it's free.

Here's something easy that people always seem to like:

Cream Cheese Pinwheels:
6-8 Large Soft Tortillas
2 Blocks of Philly Cream Cheese
1 Packet of Hidden Valley Ranch Party Dip
! red pepper, diced
1 bunch of green onions, chopped

Combine all ingredients (except tortillas) in a bowl and spread thinly on each tortilla. Roll up tightly and wrap each filled tortilla in plastic wrap and refridgerate for a few hours. Just before the picnic, unwrap each tortilla and slice into 1 inch pieces and arrange on a serving platter. You can also make the cream cheese mixture the night before and refridgerate to save time.

Good luck! :-)

jesus cake....haha...just kidding...make a bowl of jello...that cant fail...

the best is macoroni salad. you boil macaroni noodles and put in some celery and and tuna and other veggies. its the best. Good luck!
