Question: Easy to make finger foods?
I am doing all the catering for my partners birthday myself, has anyone got recipes and ideas for simple low cost finger foods?

its hard to do but once you know what your doing then it becomes easy:
devil eggs / pizza rolls or mini pizza / Sun-Dried Tomato and Ricotta Bruschetta
Quesadillas / pigs in a blanket / spin and artichoke dip / veggie and dill dip / egg rolls or spring rolls

Small burritos made with taco-sized flour tortillas. You could have beans and cheese, chicken and cheese, etc. Heat the beans and/or meat in a skillet on low heat, heat the tortillas on a dry skillet one at a time for about 10 seconds a side, load them up, and then wrap them up. You can also wrap them up in sheets of foil and put them in a pan in a warm oven to keep them warm for quite a while. Serve with salsa for dipping.

Ok I'm planning my babies party and doing most of it myself as well.
I am making devilled eggs, shrimp ring, vegi plate and dip, tarts with a variety of things in them, cucumber slices with salmon spread(cream cheese mixed with sour cream, then piping bag and flower to make a niced shape. Black bean dip(mash them up , add tons of parsley and garlic, salt and pepper and someolive oil) then have mini pita bread on the side.
I was going to do a cheese and meat platter but instead I am thinking of having salami wraps(with some thin sliced bell peppers inside) held together with a toothpick.
Then hot foods, I am buying some frozen items to warm up in the over, I am also making mini pizzas, angels on horseback(liver, wrapped in bacon, held together with a toothpick) these can be cooked the night before and just rewarmed before the party, and I'm still thinking up a couple more things. Hope it helps
