If you want....a beach party (it's warm where you are)....have volleyball, Frisbee, toss beach balls, play catch, have fun picnic foods, blankets to sit on, lounge chairs, music. Play tug of war...look for some great beach activities online---get someone who plays guitar if you're lucky--wind up with a nice bonfire even if you have to go back to your place to do that (or find a location that allows that).
Can also pass out leis and make things colorful and lively!
There's even ideas online for beach scavenger hunts...finding objects...or taking pics of things you have to find (like ppl, etc).
