What food is typically served for vegetarians at parties and pubs?!

Question: What food is typically served for vegetarians at parties and pubs?
My friend is vegetarian and is coming to dinner. I am making something interesting for her but I want to pretend I'm doing something really bland as she says that usually people give her the same thing whenever she goes to eat at places. What can I tell her I'm making to 'wind her up'?

Haha! Vegetable pie or some kind of tomato and vegetable pasta should do it! Or some boring quiche/flan.

I see only two people have bothered to read your question properly so far - and I agree, a boring cheese and tomato quiche and side salad always makes my heart sink

Other boring veggie foods always on the menu at pubs:
- Jacket potato with cheese and beans (whoopie!)
- Macaroni cheese
- Pasta and tomato sauce
- Veggieburger and chips
