Party food ideas????!

Question: Party food ideas????
I'm hosting a party, (ie. Tupperware, purse party, celebrating home) and I need ideas for foods.

It's before Valentines day so I was gonna use that as my theme. I know of the traditional veggie tray, finger sandwiches....

Any ideas??

Thank you in advance.

Cheddar cheese straws

Ingredients
2 cups flour
2 cups extra sharp cheese, shredded
1/2 cup butter, softened
1/4 teaspoon coarse salt
1/2 teaspoon cayenne
1 teaspoon baking powder

Method
Sift the flour, salt, cayenne pepper, and baking powder together. Add the softened butter and blend well with a pastry blender. Add the cheese 1/2 cup at a time, mixing well. Then knead thoroughly by hand as for biscuit dough. Roll and cut into strips 1/8-inch thick.

[If you would like to make cheese curls using a cookie press, add 2 tablespoons milk to dough before kneading].

Place on a cookie sheet, sprayed with cooking spray or lightly greased. Bake at 375 for 10 to 20 minutes, or until lightly browned. Let cool. When cool, store in an airtight container.

I make these party rings all the time and people love them (you can also use the Pillsbury Crescent Rolls too)

You can fill them with other ingredients too. I do this pizza one and then one with turkey, swiss and broccoli. All of them are delicious for a party.

Good luck.

Stuffed mushrooms
Grilled garlic chicken salad on ritz crackers topped with a sliver of roasted red pepper
Cheese and crackers

Chips and salsa or artchichoke or spinach dip.
Fruit platter.
Potato salad or macaroni salad.
