Mix together taco seasoning and the big container of sour cream and put that on the bottom of a big round deep platter. On top put shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes, then shredded cheese. They can eat it with tortilla chips it is the best and very healthy to eat. It is considered a taco salad dip in a way.

do a seafood dip with crackers or have little subs. or do mini burgers. use dinnner rolls for the buns and have toppings. you could also make chili then have different kinds of dippers like pretzels crackers or tortilla chips. you can also provide cheese, sour cream, and salsa and other toppings. i saw that on Rachel Ray's show. Another good item is taquiitos. you can find them in the frozen food section those are good appetizers. Buffalo wings are always a favorite with blue cheese or ranch dressing.

doritos, lays, marshmallows, brownies, cake, ice-cream, grape jello, mints, salad, burgers, hotdogs, cheese and crackers, salsa and tortia chips, smore bars, candy, pizza, mozeralla sticks, onion rings, cheeseballs, cheetohs, fritos, sun chips, chips, fruit, spagetti (lol), pop, water, juice, choclate, wonka recipes, snickerdoodles, cookies, ohenry bars, rice krispy bars, carmel rice crispies, donuts, peanuts, cashew, beef jerky, beef, pork, ham, turkey, chicken, crispy chicken salads with ranch, crispy chicken, bacon, ETC. I have a bunch of ideas don't i?

when ever we have a get together we make chicken wings. We buy 4 of the disposable foil pans and make 4 different flavors. You throw away the pans so clean up is a breeze.(You do need a big bowl or barrel to dispose of the bones as your guest eat though)We usually have shrimp and dip also. You can buy the shrimp all cleaned and cooked, just put it in a bowl over ice.Sometimes we use store bought cocktail sauce or make it from scratch.Little Swedish meatball are good because you can make them the day before and then heat them and keep them warm in a crock pot.

Dry prunes wrapped with stripes of bacon baked, mini shish kabob either of small pieces of beef or chicken breast, onion tomato or green pepper as you like, you can cook them on the toaster oven. Another is sliced mushroom with garlic in Olive oil, served with mini toasts. Mini tortillas with bean shopped lettuce and cheese over the lettuce.

Phad thai noodles and egg rolls.

Sushi
Chicken Skewers
Bruschetta
Baked Brie w/Crackers
Chinese Chicken Salad
Lettuce Wraps
Spring Rolls

get a piece of wheat bread, cut of all four sides, flatten it (your palm & fingers will do if you don't have a rolling pin), put a slice of parma ham, a slice of mozzarela cheese, slather a bit of dijon mustard, cover with another slice, dip in beaten eggs then dip in japanese bread crumbs then fry till a golden brown. slice diagonally. serve. instead of the usual chips, get some pita bread, slice them into chip sizes, deep fry until (about 3 mins or until crunchy), drain then season with salt and pepper then serve with guacamole (avocado, red onion, some crushed garlic, cherry tomatoes, salt, pepper and lemon juice). make your guacamole chunky. have fun.

There will not be anything left on this one - easy, easy to make and very elegant!

Kahlua Brie

Purchase your favorite Brie cheese and trim the wax from the top.

Cook 1/4 cup Kahlua with a couple tablespoons of brown sugar until the brown sugar melts and the sauce has thickened.

Mix in toasted, crumbled pecans.

Add sauce over the brie cheese and serve with nice crackers.

I can't remember what this is called. I got it from a lebonese cook I worked with when I was in food service years and years ago. Bear with me on measurements....we made this for groups of 100 plus. You'll find it has a refreshingly light and tangy taste. It's safe for your vegan friends, and it's low in carbs or carb free if they want to forego the pita bread.

Combine 1/2 cup olive oil with 1/2 cup lemon juice.
Add 2 teaspoons crushed garlic and one teaspoon mint (fresh or dried will work.

For the bulk of the salad, finely chop one head of romaine lettuce...more if you need it. Dice 4 or 5 Roma tomatoes as small as you can and add to lettuce along with 2 cups finely chopped parsly. From here on you can add a variety of things, it depended on what I had on hand in the kitchen. I've put in diced black olives, chopped scallions, garbanzo beans, cucumbers, grated carrots, etc...

Just before serving, pour the lemon juice mixture over the salad and mix thoroughly. You want it to somewhat stick together. Cut some flat pita bread up into chip-sized triangles so your guests can just dip and move on if they like.

Pinwheels are always always a hit whenever I do them at parties...
Ingredients:
- 3 oz. cream cheese
-8 oz sour cream
-8 oz. shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 c. green olives (chopped)
- 4 oz. can of green chilies
- Dash of garlic powder (If you like it, add more!)
-Picante sauce
-Soft tortillas

Mix all of the ingredients together in a bowl and then spread the mixture onto the tortillas. You don't want to over fill them because after this you do roll them up, so just spread a good amount without over doing it. Then, roll up the tortialls so they are like long logs. Wrap the logs in saran wrap and put them in the fridge overnight. The longer they stay in the fridge the better they get, so you can make this the day before for a party the following night! Then, take them out, unwrap and slice them into 1/2 in slices (so when laying flat they look like little pinwheels!) People can dip them in picante sauce or salsa, which is what we usually do! Hope you try them, they are SO easy to make and delicious, and very different from just plain chips and dip! :)

Have everyone help make the food, It gets everyone in the mood. k-bobs, egg rools, or a wrap. get the boys cutting fruit, or wraping something with bacon it's slimmy, they love it and it gets the conversation going in a great direction... your friends have fun and your not stuck doing all the work. Just make sure you have someone making the drinks......have fun with it. You can also have friends bring uncooked food they like and you can learn from them, have them write it down so you have it for another time. Another idea is getting with the girls that will be over for the party, or the guys, ask them what they like, or surf the wed for new things. You can make every get together a new county. Don't forget to make the drinks to go with the country your doing that evening.

Ask some of the people that are going and see what they like to eat at a party.
