Well, I'm assuming that you have a unlimited amount of money to use. Last year, for my 13th, I took two close friends and went bowling and swimming. It was so fun! Then we just came back to my house and hung out and they slept over. You could also go ice skating, have a big house party, go out to eat at a really fancy restaurant, or anything really. Unless you're having a house party, I recommend only inviting your super close friends, or else it gets very chaotic and people start to fight, then you'll spend your party breaking up the tension and trying to get people to make up. Also, some people will feel like no one is paying attention to them and they'll start to be drama queens (personal experience: went to a party and this one girl wasn't getting enough attention so she hid under a table for about two hours...when no one realized she was gone she came out and started crying...not a very fun sleepover). If it's not too cold go outside and play games like Follow the Judge and Ghost in the Graveyard. Have fun!
I've been to lots of parties and have had alot of parties.
A lot of my friends are turning the same age as you, (I have a late birthday... in october!) so I can tell you about what other people have done and what I would/will do. You could meet your friends at a spa! Get manicures and pedicures, face masks etc. After you could go to a nice restaurant for a birthday dinner. Possibly you and your friends could go back to your house and have a sleepover! If your good with just something simple, go bowling or swimming. But I don't suggest swimming because it is winter and people will be growing out of their bathing suits and not have any, or when you step out of the pool and you go the parking lot your hair will freeze! A really fun party I went to was at this trampoline place. It was a room with 4 giant tramps, wall to wall it was so fun! Good luck on planning a great birthday party and happy 14th birthday!!!
