Include the classic cajun Nawlins saying Laissez le bon temps rouler, or Let the good times roll!

To be honest I don't see why you need to address the type of food you are serving unless you specifically want to for some reason. I mean if I were serving lobster and steak would I need to say so on my invite? Are you trying to entice people to come or maybe warn them? Lol.

But to answer your question I agree with first poster that you could include a cutesy French/NOLA saying and then simply go on to give the details of the event (time/place/etc). You can google common New Orleans/Cajun sayings and find one that fits similar to the one above.

Or, if you don't like that you could simply do a standard invite and then put something at the bottom like "dinner will be served--Cajun style!" or something like that. The point being you are letting people know you are serving a meal which is an appropriate thing to convey in an invitation. Hope that helped.

Your invitation depends on your choice, you can invite your near and dear for the same
