what should I do? should I mention I worked at papa johns even though I got fired?!

Question: What should I do? should I mention I worked at papa johns even though I got fired?
alright heres the situation, in October 2010, I worked at Papa Johns for about a week but got terminated for not being papa johns material, ever since it is hard for me to find a job because I dont really have experience, i did work at a spirit halloween store, but when I go to interviews the managers tell me thats not a real job, I desperatly need money for college and im a part time college student right, and all my classes are in the morning,

how do I get a job if I dont have experience? and also if I was to apply to another papa johns, should I mention on my application that I worked at PJ before and I got fired? I dont want to them to know that.

I wouldn't put it on your apps. I would put the Halloween store thing even if it was for a short time since you need to have SOMEthing on there. Look on job sites for jobs that don't require any experience. Waiting tables, retail, washing cars, general labor type jobs. Tell everyone you know that you are looking for a job, it will really help if you can have an inside connection somewhere. Talk to employees were you shop, eat, whatever and mention that you are looking for a job, they might tell you they have an opening. Check with your college to see if they have any sort of website or bulletin board or something for companies that are wanting to hire college students.

Everyone started somewhere with no experience. You just have to be persistent. Volunteering is a great thing to do to not only help others but help YOU get experience, something to put on an application, and also references. Your college should have a database of volunteer opportunities, if not check with your local United Way, Red Cross or any soup kitchen, humane society, Habitat for Humanity, whatever.

Depends on how you were not material for them I wouldn't put it just because it was only a week because that won't show experience that'll show that you won't stay long....even if u did get fired I would just keep applying to places and the right one will open up for you
