Start with 7 layer Salad
In a large bowl start with lettuce and add each layer
Shredded lettuce
4 hard boiled eggs (sliced)
1 (16 oz.) bag of frozen peas thawed
1 onion, 2 stalks celery, 1 bell pepper (cut up )
2 cups of mayonnaise & 1/2 cup sugar (blend & pour over top)
1 pound bacon, cooked crisp and crumbled
2 cups of shredded sharp cheese (grated)

Baked Chicken
boneless chicken breast (1 for each guest)

1/2 cup of milk
salt, pepper, onion and garlic powder to taste

Mix soup and milk, pour in 8x11 pan put in chicken, cover with "gravey" add spices cook at 350 for 45 minutes or done

Serve whatever fresh veggies are available..Corn on the Cob

couple loaves of french bread..cut in half lengthwise, spread each side with margarine or butter..sprinkle with garlic powder, wrap in tinfoil and cook at 350 for 10 minutes

Dessert..omg too many to list, but the favorite standby almost always works, frosted brownies/ and or some dessert that doesnt have chocolate for those who dont like it (faint)

Chicken is always good.

Linguini with Clams. Easy as anything to make. And people will think you spent a lot more time on it than you did.

quiche

lasagna
salad
garlic bread

i ate chicken in a green gravy delicious.. it comprised of spinach blanched and blended into a gravy with sum garlic onion and ahh the pepper marinated chicken.. loved it

Stuffed bell peppers.Use the red or yellow peppers for color. With a side of scallopped potatos. mmmmmmmmmmm

Pasta does well for larger crowds and everyone loves it. Look in your cook book for a basic white sauce recipe...add whatever style of Italian cheese you like, for example: mozzarella, provolone, Parmesan...add ribbon style sliced strips of dried beef or prosciutto. While you are doing this boil up some penne or rigatoni. Combine everything almost like you would a mac and cheese dish. Top with a mixture of breadcrumbs, cheese and rosemary if you like. Bake it off till brown and bubbly. Serve with some greens and bread of choice. Delicious!

** You may have to tripple or even quadroople the white sauce recipe to accomodate the pasta. Add a good amound (1 bag of shredded) cheese. You will know because it will all just look right. lol

I usually go buy the FAMILY SIZE stoffer's LASAGNA. That way you just stick it in the oven, you can socialize without having slave over the stove. Buy some salad stuff and garlic bread. YUM YUM! Just be sure to stick it in the oven about 2 hours before supper. It takes a while to cook suck a big portion, but its worth it. And you won't have many dishes to clean afterward, just the dishes you eat on.

Fry the chicken in the skillet until brown on both sides and juices run clear. Remove and keep warm. Add broth to the skillet; bring to a boil, stirring to bring up all of the browned bits. Stir in cream and red peppers. Reduce heat and simmer for one minute. Add the Parmesan, basil and black pepper. Simmer and stir until heated through. Pour the sauce over the chicken and serve. Goes great with rice or angel hair pasta

The boss.....make Steak a good prime rib!! Remember a way to someones heart is through their stomach.

Try these great stuffed red or green peppers. You mix cooked rice, tomato sauce, barley, onions, garlic, some spices, ground beef, and a hint of lemon juice together. Then, cut off the top of the peppers, and pour your mixture in. Add some cheese on top, and you can eaither grill them, or bake them, but make sure to drizzle a bit of olive oil on top before hand. They are so yummy and simple. Have fun!

Hmm Well Pasta is Good ...
And a Good Soup ...And a Very Delicious Salad ..
Or If You Dont Like Pasta ...a Well Done Steak With a Very Nice Brown Sauce is Good ...And Lasagna ...
Oh And For Desert Rich Chocolate Cake or Fruit Salad ....

I Hope the Dinner Would Be a Blast and Amazing
Thanks For asking :)

When we have people over, I usually do Italian because I am part Italian, and Italian food generally feeds a lot of people, so you can make a huge meal and not spend a lot of money on it.

A lot of times I will make either manicotti or stuffed shells, meatballs and sauce, side salad, and garlic bread or Texas Toast with cheese on it.

If you don't want to do Italian, you can buy about 2 packages of chicken tenders from your grocery store, crack 2 eggs into a bowl and beat lightly, crush up a package of garlic ritz crackers (I love garlic so I always add more garlic powder to it) and dip the chicken into the egg and coat with the crackers. Lay it on a cookie sheet or in a 13 x 9 pan and cut thin pats of butter and lay them all around the chicken and bake at 350 for 20-30 minutes. It is soooooo good and super easy to make! Throw together a salad and a baked potato and you have a yummy, easy meal!

A buffet style with tacos and burritos is always good. You don't have to serve anyone, and they put what they want on their own food. Its always been great every time I've had people over for dinner.
