Do people still go dutch?!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!?!

Question:

Do people still go dutch?!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!?

Answers:
creepy men do

i never did

Yes, sometimes.

Especially the natives of Holland, the Netherlands.

My boyfriend and I do sometimes. It mixes things up a bit.

Yeah, with friends.

No. Never. Even when I am out with female friends I make sure to pay. Sometimes I will let a girl pay for something little on a date like cotton candy or snowcones or whatever but the brunt of the cost must be borne by me.

The man is lucky to have the priviledge of paying for the woman's night out. If it doesn't go well and you don't go out again then that's just the CDB (cost of doing business).

if i'm going out with a mate yes. If i'm going out with a bloke no. But my sister insists on paying her way so some obviously do

Of course they do - especially if they are trying to live in expensive cities. The only reasons you wouldn't were if one partner earned significantly more than the other/it's a special occasion/you feel like paying that night/or the woman was only going with the guy for money... which basically makes her something she should aspire not to be.

sure!

Yep. It's nice to have a dinner bought for you, but if you go dutch occasionally you keep your pride and a symbolic amount of independence.

And if I'm not that keen on a guy I'll go dutch, or if it's just out with mates.

occasionally, doesn't go over well though

Some people do that, yes. I some times refer to it as, going German. why? The original Dutch came from Pennsylvania, and they were German. But people thought they were speaking Dutch.

Sure....Holland is wonderful place to visit.

Yes....it's called separate checks please.

Yes, cheapo.
