Sidedish suggestions for Super Bowl Sunday? NO CHEESE! GO STEELERS!?!

Question: Sidedish suggestions for Super Bowl Sunday? NO CHEESE! GO STEELERS!?
I'm gonna smoke a few slabs of pork ribs and boil or grill some corn on the cob. Any other suggestions that don't involve cheese?

Answers:

I LOVE home made thick cut potato chips (sweet potato chips too). Very easy and everyone loves them

I remember a July 4th party wherein I didn't serve cheese. Boy oh boy, did I learn my lesson! But I did have an entire week of "no cheese" dishes leading up to the match between the Bears and the Packers, so I do understand.

Would you consider a dish with cheese "food", that is, cheese that isn't really cheese? Like Velveeta? Or would that still be too close?

OK, enough rambling. I would highly recommend you make these Million Dollar Saltines.

Ingredients
1 1/2 cup safflower or canola oil
1/4 teaspoon Accent Flavor Enhancer, optional
1 packet Hidden Valley Ranch Salad & Seasoning Mix
2 generous tablespoons red chile flakes
2 generous tablespoons fresh, minced chives
4 sleeves Nabisco brand saltine crackers

Method
Measure the oil into a 2 cup liquid measure. Sprinkle in the Accent and Seasoning Mix. Add the red chili flakes and minced chives. Whisk to combine.

Pour the mixture into a 2 gallon Ziploc food storage bag [set the bag in a large mixing bowl to stabilize]. Add the crackers. Seal the bag, leaving some air in the bag. Take the bag out of the bowl and tumble the bag around, distributing the oil mixture evenly around the crackers. Leave the bag at room temperature and tumble the crackers every 10 minutes [or whenever you think of it] over the next hour. Remove the crackers to an air-tight container and leave at room temperature. The crackers are best the following day … if you can wait that long.

Pasta salad with RED peppers YELLOW peppers BLACK olives a little onion and garlic add chopped tomatos. toss it with Salt pepper olive oil, balsamic vinegar & a drizzle of sesame oil or just go with italian dressing. Yum. And steeler colors. Except blue. There is no blue food.
