The secret to a good surprise party?!

Question:

The secret to a good surprise party?

before the party begin, there were a zillion things to do. Ice had to be organised, soft drinks ordered, guest lists tallied.

Someone must volunteered the plates and forks and glasses, others the music. Microwaves and ovens had to be organised, the beverages chilled, the snacks ordered.

The food having only partially been decided (by 'others'), to ensure there were enough vegetarian dishes, and that finally there was something to eat it with. Furious messages flew back and forth over the phone about who was to make the chicken and mutton, the rice, the dal and salad

I went to a surprise party once at it was held at the home of the partygirl. Everyone met outside of her home at the same time with the decorations, food, drinks, cake, etc. She was at home. We rang the bell and everybody yelled SURPRISE...and came in and set up the party. It was so much fun and she was definitely surprised. LOL
