Need to bring a side dish?!

Question:

Need to bring a side dish?

Need to bring a side to a hawaiian-themed party. The hostess is grilling hot dogs and burgers. What should I bring??

Answers:
a tropical fruit basket - you can shape the fruit like flowers (there are examples online of this using grapes for the center of the flower).

What's neat is that later you can put the skewers on the grill with a little honey at the last minute for a warm dessert if you wish.

Something a little less work intensive would be sweet and sour meatballs.

a pineapple. cuz it's hawaiian

Hawaiian salad or prepare some fruit kabobs with yogurt dip.

fruit salad (with pineapple of course) and some chips.
poof! you're done

pinapple ?

a nice pea salad

small tomatoes and purè (mashed potatoes)

a fresh fruit salad would compliment the food and the party and it is very easy to do and can be done ahead of time

well one thing you could do is put some pineapple and melon on skewers and grill them or make shrimp skewers and put a lemon wedge on each skewer with the shrimp. they work great for parties.
or something like a tropical fruit salad.

a plate filled with fruit

fruit salad with lots of tropical type fruits in it - maybe with a light rum dressing?
