HEN PARTY STRESS!!!-cant please everyone...?!
The thing is they is 20 people coming and some are old some are young some are middle aged etc etc.. am trying to accommodate for everyone but still have a full blown out great hen night.. at first I wanted to do French maids.. i neva go out fancy dress so I wanted to make the most of it.. however after thinking about this i realised the older people would not be up for this.. Iv looked at other things but nothing is really taking a fancy to me.. Anyone got any ideas for a theme fancy dress for my night that would accommodate everyone so the younger ones could wear something sexy but others can choose something within the same theme that's not as revealing

What about military party? Everyone in various soldiers costumes - pilots, SWAT fighters, nurses, sailors, generals, may be even etc? There are some parties in woods, but if you simply do not want to go out, army theme is good. The clothes can be bought and kept for future parties or used casually.

Hi congratulations!! How about something like.. school girls?? so the younger can look a little bit more naughty than the older women?? or pirates?? there is some really good sexy pirate costumes out there ha ha and yet some more classy but good ones for the older women. then can take out some pretend swords and things and have a bit of fun with it?? or how about moulin rouge?? younger ones less to wear lol and the older ones can wear them dresses that swish around lol bit of an 80s theme?? have fun whatever you choose!!
How's about "Powerful Women Through The Ages". I can see Cleopatra costumes, Jackie O costumes (gives the old biddies a chance to wear all that costume jewelry!) Lady Gaga and Madonna for the younger girls. The list goes on & on.

Something like pirates allows you to be as covered up (or not) as you want but gives everyone a chance to have a good time with the theme and not feel left out.
I commend you for even trying to make everyone happy. Just know that if you have a good time (and give people enough time to be able to order or go shopping in a store for a costume), no one should complain. Have fun and don't stress too much. It's your party after all!
