What is a simple idea for a work theme party?
The party will last throughout the work day at our bussiness. There may be up to 50 people.
Answers:
a "what you wanted to be when you were a kid" party. So fellow workers can come dressed up as astonaughts and firemen!
What type of business? Is it a going away party for someone, or just to have fun? Sorry, that info will help.
Luau
Luau theme. Everyone could be in casual attire. Oriental trading Co has tons of hawaiian luau themed stuff you could put up and food would be easy.
olympian's (employees)- are great athletes at what they do- they are winners- when they win the team wins! there is no quitting- there is no defeat- just victory!!!!!
It depends on the budget of this company. I would serve a variety of finger foods; sushi (cooked and raw), sandwiches, eggrolls, quiches and chicken wings.

Have a "let's pretend it's the weekend" theme and have an all-day picnic outside, if possible. See if there is someone in your area who smokes food, hire them to bring their smoker and smoke ribs, chicken, burgers, etc, on the property all day so everyone will smell the wonderful food cooking all day. From personal experience, I think you will find that to be a huge hit and everyone will be in great spirits all day!
Another neat idea would be to hold a raffle. The winner would receive the proceeds and be given a real recreational day off with the family.

A build-your own sundae thing......ice cream, cones, bananas, maraschino cherries, syrups, nuts whipped cream, sprinkles...who doesn't love ice cream??? i also worked for a company that brought in a barista and they made drinks and had muffins and stuff all day..sort of like a mobile starbucks.

My roomate had a work party at our place and their theme was "Sports Party." When I came home later that night I found little basketballs, sweat bands, and workout videos around. There were even a bunch of soccer cupcakes. But for work you could wear sports clothes and tennis shoes, stuff like that. You could have medals even, that Olympic theme is along the same lines.
