Ideas for Graduation Party?!

Question: Ideas for Graduation Party?
Hey, so.. I want to have a Grade 8 Graduation Party for my class
which is in about four months.
I need some cool ideas
like, renting a hall.. swimming, things like that, just not a dance party cause some are REALLY religious and I want to respect that.
I want something fun, and available for everyone.
thanks !!

Swimming is a great idea...anything that involves an activity for everyone to do. You can make it a combination Beach/Luau theme

Have things like noodle races in the pool, diving for sticks or rings for points, playing 'chicken'...have several beach balls to toss around (and even sign with permanent marker)>>give away as prizes at end of party for souvenirs. Pass out leis, hang festive things up to make it tropical. Get kid size beach pails and fill them with great things for a door prize: beachcomber's hat, beachtowel, "lifesaver" candies, sunglasses, one of those corded things that hang around your neck to hold money, beachy key chains.

If it's at your home with a pool, you can grill outdoors...or if not, have foods typical of luau: terriyaki chicken on skewers, fruits on picks stuck into half a melon, salads....or can do mini sliders instead if that's what they want. Pizza? maybe that's all they'll want.Make something with coconut...even if it's a dessert if making coconut shrimp is too much for you to do.

Or you can make it an "under the sea" party (Have invites say: "You are O-FISH-ally" invited to..."---..featuring all things from the ocean and make it colorful. Have games like filling an empty aquarium with marbles and having 2 teams where they have to "dig for treasure">>give them a spoon and they have to scoop out marbles and carry to a bowl. First team who collects the most in a designated time wins.

Play "pass the sponge">>again, have teams (more than 2 for your size crowd): each team has 1 bucket filled with water and 1 very large sponge...up ahead of that is an empty bucket (or container). On "Go" first team member in line soaks sponge and passes it to person behind them (can do overhead, or between legs, or both) til it reaches last person>>then they rush up and squeeze water out into the empty bucket and takes the first position in line, while everyone moves back. Keep going til either first team done gets the most water, or first team to fill empty bucket to a line marked with tape wins.

Do water limbo....have hula hoop contests, do a scavenger hunt (here's one to do just using candy in your own party area: http://www.easy-party-ideas-and-games.co…
