Dessert party tomorrow...any ideas for me?!

Question:

Dessert party tomorrow...any ideas for me?

Something that is your favorite dessert maybe? Thank you!!

Answers:
Anything chocolate. Make fudge brownies, serve with ice cream, drizzle fudge sauce (kind in jar) serve with sliced fresh strawberries, top with sprig of mint or small green leaf from plant, not tree. This time of year, anything with ice cream/whiipped cream and fresh berries with pound cake (store baked) or pretty Pepperidge Farm cookies. My favorite is anything easy to make because it's all in the presentation-pretty dishes, sprinkles, cloth napkin, small floweraccent on plate.

Just thought of something that is great. Triamisu-an Italian desert of chocolate cake, coffee flavoring, mascapone cream cheese, pudding and whipped cream. It's available frozen at Costco, maybe sams also . Also some gourmet groceries. Again add some berries for color. Great served with coffee or Tia Maria or Kahlua.

I'm just a Martha wannabe but without all the staff and time. Tthe old saying that "you eat with your eyes." says it all - just the subtle extras. Also, the deli bakeries at the grocery stores can have some terrific selections.

chocolate fondu with banana bread, quick and easy. Melt your chocolate with some baileys or kahlua, malibu might work as well but have not tried. YOu could also use brandy as well if you want a bolder taste

a cup of water

If you are a cook, make a couple of different kinds of cheesecake, and then serve different toppings, fresh fruit, sweet whipped cream, good chocolate sauce. If you are not, then go to a good bakery and choose pastries that look pretty, are small and serve on your prettiest serving pieces. If its not that fancy, get good ice cream, all the toppings and have a make your own sundae party. Plates of a good variety of cookies is fast and easy. Round everything with some fresh fruit.

First, put some soya oil. Then, fried the minced onion.Next, put few slices of kraft cheese or as many as you like. Lastly, dip it with bread. You can roast the bread first and put the ingredient on top. Serve it hot~ Good for health~

PB&J Bars

1/2 pound (2 sticks) unsalted butter, at room temperature
1? cups sugar
1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
2 extra-large eggs, at room temperature
2 cups (18 oz) creamy peanut butter (recommended: Skippy)
3 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1? teaspoons kosher salt
1? cups (18 oz) raspberry jam or other jam
2/3 cup salted peanuts, coarsely chopped

Preheat the oven to 350oF. Grease a 9x13x2” cake pan. Line it with parchment paper, then grease and flour the pan.

In the bowl of an electric mixer fitted with the paddle attachment, cream the butter and sugar on medium speed until light yellow, about 2 minutes. With the mixer on low speed, add the vanilla, eggs, and peanut butter and mix until all ingredients are combined.

In a small bowl, sift together the flour, baking powder, and salt. With the mixer on low speed, slowly add the flour mixture to the peanut butter mixture. Mix just until combined.

Spread 2/3 of the dough into the prepared cake pan and spread over the bottom with a knife or offset spatula. Spread the jam evenly over the dough. Drop small globs of the remaining dough evenly over the jam. Don't worry if all the jam isn't covered; it will spread in the oven. Sprinkle with chopped peanuts and bake for 45 minutes, until golden brown. Cool and cut into squares.

PALMIERS

2 cups granulated sugar
1/8 teaspoon kosher salt
2 sheets puff pastry, defrosted (recommended: Pepperidge Farm)

Preheat the oven to 450 degrees F.
Combine the sugar and kosher salt. Pour 1 cup of the sugar/salt mixture on a flat surface such as wooden board or marble. Unfold each sheet of puff pastry onto the sugar and pour 1/2 cup of the sugar mixture on top, spreading it evenly on the puff pastry. This is not about sprinkling, it's about an even covering of sugar. With a rolling pin, roll the dough until it's 13 by 13-inches square and the sugar is pressed into the puff pastry on top and bottom. Fold the sides of the square towards the center so they go halfway to the middle. Fold them again so the two folds meet exactly at the middle of the dough. Then fold 1 half over the other half as though closing a book. You will have 6 layers. Slice the dough into 3/8-inch slices and place the slices, cut side up, on baking sheets lined with parchment paper. Place the second sheet of pastry on the sugared board, sprinkle with the remaining 1/2 cup of sugar mixture, and continue as above. (There will be quite a bit of sugar left over on the board.) Slice and arrange on baking sheets lined with parchment.
Bake the cookies for 6 minutes until caramelized and brown on the bottom, then turn with a spatula and bake another 3 to 5 minutes, until caramelized on the other side. Transfer to a baking rack to cool
