How do you make a melted wine bottle cheese tray?!

Question:

How do you make a melted wine bottle cheese tray?

I keep seeing wine bottles melted and used as cheese tray and I want to make one.

Answers:
You would need a kiln to melt it down. Perhaps at a local junior college or a crafts store you could find a kiln that you could rent on an hourly basis.

microwave it

subject the wine bottle to intense heat inside a kiln and melt into the shape of a serving tray.

They're so cool! I see them at the Binder Twine Festival all the time. They're so expensive! I think it'd be cool to know how to make them too. It would be a neat Christmas gift! Check the Internet on how to melt glass-safely! Good luck!

Buy one!

The site below has quite a few to choose from that are not very expensive. A few you have to call and ask for the price. But the most expensive on the list is $30.00.
