Your usual?

Seriously, that was pretty generous, Was the service exceptional, could you afford it, did you do it just to impress.
Next time just twenty, okay. Unless the server pops out to the parking lot and washes your car too.

P.S. I'm a server of many years.

yes! that is over 20%...unless the service is horrible, you should always give 20%. Many times the server isn't earning a salary at all after tipping out bussers, bar staff, and declaring to the state.

you are very generous..!!! shouldn't be that flamboyant i guess

25% is a very nice tip. I usually give 20%, but 17% is considered norm.

Yes, that is a good tip, maybe even a bit generous although if the service was marvelous, then it was warranted.

The waitress will love you!

It's a little generous, but if you had good service, that's okay.

20% is normal. (15% is old normal)

That is a 25% tip. Normally, you would give 15% - 20%.

Yea! But that is 25%. Sooooo The waiter must have been
REALLY, REALLY GOOD.

thas good but u dont have 2 tip on the price of the food but the service of the waiter

A normal tip is considered 15% and for good service you might rise that to 20%. Your 25% would be considered a "gift".

10 to 15% is the going rate but if you feel your waitress gave you excellent service and was friendly then why not reward her.

You should tip a minimum of 15-18 percent of your total bill for the good service you recieved.

I usually tip 15% for satisfactory service, less if unacceptable, more if extraordinary.

Thats a very generous tip, dont worry about how much you gave .. you did fine.

That's a good tip for a $100 order.

That's actually a generous tip. Usually the gratuity is expected to be anywhere between 18-20%, and you gave 25%.

It may be a little excessive unless your service was excellent. I would have given $20.

That should be more than enough. I believe the going rate is 15 percent now. Which would be about $15.00. You gave a 25 percent tip, which is above average, at least the way I understand it. It also depends on how many people were in your party, because if the waiter or waitress has to do extra waiting on your table, because of more people, I think they should be given a higher tip.

$15.00 is what you should have left but if you want to know an easy way to figure what to leave for a tip just double the tax & leave that

25%. FINE

When we normally go out, we give about $10 at the most as a tip. But we normally give like $5. But some people do give like $30. So it really depends on what kind of rate you are comfortable with.

That might be a little bit high, depending on the restaurant. I usually tip 15% unless the service was exceptional and the restaurant unusually nice, in which case I tip 20%. Your tip was 25%. I hope they earned it! :)

Yes, it was over 20%, you were very generous. I assume the service was excellent!

Only if the service was fantastic.

THat's better than all right.that's 25%

I sometimes ask if tipping is permitted. If they say 'yes', I'll say "stay out of dark alleys". They usually laugh. Besides, a nice sense of humor on their part earns them a bigger tip from me.

YOUR A GREAT TIPPER USUALLY IT IS 10% SO YEA IT'S MORE THEN RIGHT.

wow that's plenty I usually give no more than $10 for a tip-but then again my bill is never $100 my bill is never over $50!

I usually give 20% and that in your case would have been $20. which is adequate unless the service was horrible then give less.
