What do you cook first the chicken or the egg in a chicken omelet?!

Question:

What do you cook first the chicken or the egg in a chicken omelet?

Answers:
that's funny... I don't know if you actually want an answer, but for the record, I'd cook the chicken.

the chicken first, then the egg

The chicken.
The egg cooks quickly.
The chicken does not.
If you eat raw chicken, you will get violently sick.

The chicken, it takes longer....

Cook the chicken on it's own first and then mix it in with the omlette and cook all together.

dice up the chicken, mix it with a pinch of salt and pepper.. Heat some oil in the pan... put the chicken in, stir fry a little while.. pour in the egg mixture... then fold into the omelette.. Have fun!

Chicken definitely

cook the chicken first cuz itll take time to cook and b tender and almost ready to eat, then add the eggs...may i suggest..add a little cheese on top...preffered parmesian cheese..the omlette will taste awsum!

If you cook the egg first it would be flat and tasteless by the time you got the chicken cooked. Cook the chicken first and add it to the omelet.

The Chicken!! Egg cooks a lot quicker than Chicken and it needs to be cooked properly other wise theres a risk of food poisoning and you don't want that!! happy cooking. xxx

eh? chicken!

fry chicken first then beat your eggs add salt and pepper if required some herbs aswell if you want then pour mixture over the chicken.enjoy.

LOL Urm well you'd need to cook the chicken first as it only takes minutes to cook an egg...lol thanks for the 2 points :-D

chicken then when thats done you start cooking the egg. when the egg is have way done, you put the chickin in with they egg so that they cook together.

i never heard of a chicken omelet but i believe you cook the chicken first sine an egg takes like 2 mins in the skillet

I dont eat chicken so i'd have a cheese omelette. I think i'd have to make the cheese before cooking the egg, mind u i'd have to find a chicken to get an egg so it might take as long. It would start with the birth of a cow and the birth of a chicken, i reckon the chicken would have an egg before the cow produced its first milk, but by the time the milk is there and ready to be turned to cheese, the egg would have gone off, in fact, the chicken might have died of natural causes. Goodness what a conundrum.
I think that there's something a bit unwholesome about a chicken and an egg being in the same dish,
I'm having potatoes and salad for tea, they can all be done at the same time!

Ofcorse a chicken with an egg inside it..................

The chicken should already be cooked. There wouldn't be time for it to cook in an omelet before the egg would be over cooked if not burned.

depends, ,which came first?? haha.. boil (poach) the chicken.. it won't burn that way or get too tough, and you can use the water for chicken stock if you are so inclined.. just add some spices, i do garlic salt and chopped onion.. just scoop off the white froth on top.

cook the chicken first

Chicken. DUH!

you need to cook the chicken in a seperate pan then chop it up and after your done . get another pan and make your omelet spread the egg arond the pan, ten add you chicken then the cheese, onions tomatoes, o ever you like then take the end and fold it to the middle then take the other end and fold it across he omelet. wait 3 min then flip over wait three min. then serve

The chicken takes long and should be cooked first (20-30 mins) and then the egg in the omelette takes 3 mins.
