Question: What to bring to a Chinese New Year's Party?
my Chinese friend invited me and i was wondering what i should bring as a gift. It's pretty much just dinner party at his house i believe, but What should I bring as a gift?

Traditional Almond Cookies, Egg-crepe rolls, Pineapple tarts etc. All the chinese new year goodies ;P

Else just bring 2 mandarin oranges as a form of respect. And don't forget the 6 pack!

Bring a red envelope tikoy(sticky cakes)

if you're not on too much a budget and want to impress, cognac is a big hit for chinese hosts.

Wine is always a good idea. This is the Year of The Rabbit, if that helps you think of something.
