Question: I'm making chili for a Superbowl Party. The recipe suggests garnishes. What would you choose?
I'm from Wisconsin, and I am making this chili for a party. The recipe suggests bringing the following for garnish: Shredded lettuce, Sour cream, Shredded Cheddar Cheese, Chopped Red onion, and Cilantro sprigs. Is there any Midwest folks that would like to share their opinion? Please help. Oyster crackers are a given. If all of those items were set out, which would you choose? Thank you so much!

Answers:

Most likely shredded cheese and sour cream.

Some people like fritos or those thin tortilla chips (or just tortilla chips in general and people can put them in on their own)

I personally would go for the cheddar cheese lol. I love cornbread with my chili. you could make mini little cornbread muffins. that could be cute.

I was your neighbor to the southwest. I go for the cheese, sour cream, and cilantro. I personally skip the other toppings.

I like cheddar, onion and hot sauce on my chili. Cilantro sounds good but I would probably bypass the lettuce as a chili topping.

id choose the shredded cheese, red onion
you could perhaps put out corn chips
maybe an loaf of fresh bread sliced
hot sauce on the table
but sounds delicious* ENJOY the game*:)

All of them!
