Any Ideas?!

Question:

Any Ideas?

I am having some friends over for dinner.. i really wanna make fish. But we just got a grill .. what should we make?

Answers:
Salmon, talapia. fresh tuna, shark, halibut, any firm fish is great on the grill. I use a special wire rack which makes flipping the fish easier. Less firm fish will work if you make packets of foil...you can add onions and veggies if you wish. You can also use firmer fish to make kabobs. Generally I marinade the fish first, grill it and then add a glaze and place in microwave for a minute or just pour over the fish when serving. Sometimes people use cedar planks on the grill for fish. It is also nice to add smoked wood chips for a wonderful flavor. Check out the foodnetwork.com. Bobby Flay does a lot of fish on the grill.

Happy grilling! yum!

Talapia (sp?) on the grill is good! Try looking for recipes online.

I would go with a Cod or Tilapia. You can do everything on the grill. Just wrap everything in tinfoil.

Cod/Tilapia

Melt butter and squeeze in 1/2 real lemon. Pour over fish. Sprinkle with salt, pepper onion powder and paprika.

Redskin Potatoes

Slice in half and boil in water first for about 10 min. Cuts down the cooking time on the grill. Remove from water and wrap in foil with garlic salt and parsley and some butter.

Vegetable

Any type will do. I suggest fresh asparagus. You can probably microwave in water first to cut time on the grill. Wrap in foil with butter, salt & pepper.

Put them all on the grill and cook for about 25 min. on a low heat with grill shut. You shouldn't have to turn anything but keep and eye on it.

Hope you try this and enjoy your meal.

oil, salt and pepper, put on grill 4 min ea side
