Why does the ice in my freezer taste like garlic ?!

Question:

Why does the ice in my freezer taste like garlic ?

Answers:
nothing that has been cooked with garlic should ever go into the ice box. The flow if the coolant is from warm to cold to freezing. Give the entire ice box a good cleaning with baking soda and water. Then after you have it clean; keep a box of baking soda in the cold area. But, never store garlic or anything cooked with garlic in it.

haha mine does too, but it's because i've got a bunch of frozen vegetables with garlic sauce also in the freezer.... garlic is so strong is just transfers easily

What are you storing in there!

Maybe you need an OPEN fresh box of Arm and Hamer Baking Soda in there!

Maybe you need a water filter!

OTHER SMELLS IN YOUR FREEZER ARE TRANSFERRING TO YOUR ICE...PUT A FEW OPEN BOXES OF BAKING SODA IN THERE AND YOULL BE FINE

Maybe your freezer is vampire-proof.

Its because food in the freezer and ice absorb particles from other foods and stuff in there. Just like making certain stuff with metal can leave a metallic taste.

scents can effect the flavor of your food. try using arm and hammer baking soda, especially the kind made for freezers

Is there any garlic in the freezer and maybe you should just clean the freezer and the fridge once and a while

some one tricked you. they wanted some of your ice cream, ate it, realized that they ate a noticable amount, got scared that you would find out and tried to fill in the part he ate with garlic.

hahaha

you need to clean out the freeze and wipe it down .

also but in an arm and hammer box in there it will help.

I had the same problem.
