Pancakes
Waffles
Eggs
Gravy
Biscuits
Chicken
Ham
Bacon
Sausage
Potatoes

Easy: Cereals, toast, selection of jams etc., tea, coffee, juice, croissants (warm). Then you don't have to bother cooking for them and they get loads of choice.

For a continental flavour you could also add some cold meat, cheese and perhaps some hard boiled eggs.

Nothing will spoil and what you don't use (most of it) will keep to be used by you during the next few days.

do a huge fry up...well cook bacon and sausages, scrambled eggs, beans fried potatoes etc and have bowls on tables, people can help themselves...

...or you could do the dutch thing and have cheeses, hams, breads etc (more of a brunch) but always nice! for the kids buy chocolate sprinkles and white bread, butter - a very nice dutch childrens brunch sandwich! :)

orange juice full english toast and a choice of cereals

Fresh cut fruit is always good. also a couple of different kinds of muffins, cereals,or bagels. I'm sure you could have more, but who wants to cook. Keep it simple and enjoy your company!!

Why not have a continental breakfast buffet with crossinats, pain au chocolat, butter, jam, mamalade, cereal, orange juice, tea and coffee?

if they're coming from the Midlands get them to bring some Oat cakes. They go really well with fry ups !

My family send them down to me from Stoke.

Cant have a fry up without them !

Kippers and lots of fresh crusty bread.
Bacon? That could be cooked and kept warm in the oven. There aren't many Midlanders who would say no to a bacon butty!
Or get in one of those variety packs of cereals. Get in extra milk, coffee and tea bags and some OJ.
Sorted.

cereal for the kids
toast and pastries for the adults with
cheese , ham and jams
plenty of different types of bread.
coffee and tea with fruit juice for the kids
oatso simple if they want a hot porridge, only takes 2 min.
remember different kinds of milk as not everyone have cows milk, i like soya milk
make sure there is no allergies in the family, like nut allergies. this always occur in the cereal, there might be traces of nuts in it.

why don't you try potato bread and soda bread you can get this from tesco, along with all the usuall breakfast stuff like bacon eggs sausage beans tomatoes also put a selection of cereals on the side for the kids also a big jug of orange juice and a pot of tea
you could also do bread dipped in egg with a pinch of salt and pepper and then stick it in the frying pan for a few minutes its lovely, good luck with what ever you go with

make breakfast quiches,
line you dish with pastry, add chopped bacon, small pieces of sausagemeat, cherry tomatoes, sliced mushrooms, then cover with beaten eggs mixed with hot milk, sprinkle with grated cheese and cook. hot milk speeds up the cooking time. This will allow you to spend more time with your guests as well as providing a suitable breakfast.
chef.

a bugette. Susie

You can make or buy those min quiches. Sausage links and bacon. Also, for larger groups a nice breakfast casserole. You can always make those the night before. Fresh cut fruit ( what ever is in season) recipe for my favorite below. Fresh juices and coffee.

Sun-Dried Tomatoes

Serves 6; Prep time: 15 minutes; Total time: 1 hour 40 minutes

8 ounces Italian sausage (about 3), casings removed
1 medium onion, chopped
1/4 cup chopped sun-dried tomatoes (if very dry, soaked in hot water and drained first)
Unsalted butter, for baking dish
8 large eggs
1 cup milk
Coarse salt and freshly ground pepper
6 to 8 ounces Italian bread, sliced 1/2 inch thick
1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese (about 6 ounces)

1. In a large skillet over medium-high heat, cook sausage, stirring occasionally, and breaking up meat with a spoon, until browned, 8 to 10 minutes. Add onion; cook. Stirring, until soft, 8 to 10 minutes. Stir in sun-dried tomatoes. Transfer to a plate; let cool until barely warm.

2. Butter an 8-inch-square baking dish. In a large bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, 1/2 teaspoon salt, and 1/4 teaspoon pepper. Arrange half the bread in a slightly overlapping layer in bottom of dish. Scatter half the sausage mixture and then half the cheese over the bread. Repeat with remaining bread, sausage, and cheese, pressing firmly. Pour egg mixture over layers. Cover and refrigerate at least 20 minutes or up to overnight.

3. Preheat oven to 350°. Bake, uncovered, until puffed and golden and a toothpick inserted into center comes out clean, 35 to 45 minutes.

You wanna have a breakfast buffet, so these are what you need to bring the buffet on your table..

- A basket of breads, toasts, croissants (mixed basket)
- A plate of mixed jams and chocolate butter, you also can add honey (put them in small dishes, and put the dishes on a plate)

COLD dishes:
- A plate of variety meats (hams, salami, etc. Put them out of the packages, arrange them neatly on the plate)
- A plate of variety cheese (arrange them the same as the hams)
- A plate of fresh salad or juz fresh veggies (for example: cherry tomatoes, cut paprika, carrots, etc)

WARM dishes:
- Fried Bacon & fried/boiled Sausages (put them on a plate)
- Scramble eggs/boiled eggs (put them on a narrow bowls, seperatly)

- 2 kinds of cereals (put them in bowls)
- butter (if you use small butters, you can put them together with the jams and chocolate butter)
- coffee and tea, OR coffee and hot water. With hot water the guest can choose to make tea or hot chocolate for the kids.
- a selection of tea bags (2-3 kinds of tea is enough)
- milk (put it in a milk pot)
- orange juice
- sugar and sweeteners (for diet)
- salt and pepper

Optionals:
- waffels/pancakes with syrup (juz buy ready to use waffels/pancakes, you juz need to warm them), arrange them on a plate with the syrup next to it.
- chocolate milk powder
- sliced lime/lemon (for tea)

Dun forget to put a toaster near your table, so everyone can make toasts for themselves if they want too.

For the warm dishes, you can make them before you start the breakfast so it'll be still warm. Or if you wanna do it in advance, then put the plate on a plate warmer (with candle under it).

Prepare the table, and make sure every person gets a set of fork and knife, a teaspoon, a cup, and a napkin. You can put extra bowl for cereals for the kid and a tablespoon.

Dun forget to decorate the table with table cloth and a bit flower.
Enjoy your meals! ;-)

Oh, I forgot something.. give every person a juice glass. And you can also prepare water and put it on a side stand (no need to put it on your table, it'd be too full!) ^o^

how about sasage gravy and bisct=its which are like muffins you can get a recipie online and it dont matter if they turn up late coz it is a gravy its yummy and will appeal to kids too

Make a big frittata.

Rent to buy a chafing dish and put cooked scrambled eggs there. Also use a plate for bacon. Can't beat this classic american breakfast.

You can snazzy it up a little bit by laying out a platter of meats (like ham & salami) and cheeses with some greenery or prettily cut tomato in the middle.

And don't forget the coffee! Good luck.
