Answers:
Rent a Civil War era dress from a costume shop and go as Scarlet O'Hara. Everybody has watched “Gone with the Wind.”

What about Mrs Mia Wallace (Uma Thurman) from Pulp Fiction?

Easy - white shirt, black bobbed wig - job done!

Plus, everyone's seen the film, so they'll all know who you're supposed to be.

betty boop..marilyn monroe..wilma flintstone..or leave your knickers at home n go as sharon stone, lol

Lara Croft. You will get loads of attention that way.... well.... you would if i was at that party.

jessica rabbit

a fish!

OOH find a black dress like Audrey Hepburn's from Breakfast at Tiffany's!!! I don't know easy those will be to find... but just go to the women's section and look for a straight black dress with an a-line and side straps. It doesn't even have to be exactly like it.... just similar. Because then you can wear black gloves up to your elbows and get a long cigarette and put your hair up with a tiara and EVERYONE will know who you are!!

Scarlett O'Hara

Lara Croft

Audrey Hepburn (floor length dress, gloves, pearl necklace, faux diamond bracelets, hair up in a bun, long cigarette holder)

Sally Bowles (Liza Minelli style) from Cabaret

You could be my female bunny buddy if u like????

have no idea what you look like or body type or your clothing option. so i cant help you.

have a look in the argos book on page 1430, adult fancy dress. i be getting the batman costume for my stag weekend.

Can you find a bloke to pair up with? You could then easily pull together costumes for Sharon and Ozzy!

If you're stuck on your own, how about the vicar of Dibley - a cassock would mean no need to breathe in all night!

Sandy in Greese!

I've dressed as both Mia Wallace and Lara Croft for fancy dress parties - both really easy costumes to put together.

Or, if you're curvy, go as Marliyn in THAT white dress.

Marilyn Monroe!!

Dorothy from Wizard of Oz

How about going as a fallen angel, you could say you are from any horror movie, get some black feather wings and a black tutu, you'll look so cute!

How about a saloon/can-can girl? My friends dressed like one for a party we went to recently and she looked great!! Not too clingy or skimpy but still gives you a chance to get glammed up and look sexy! Have fun! :-)

sandy from greese
audrey hepburn - so classy

The hot nun from Sound of Music? How about Pocahontas, remeber her?

If none of those, then try this as a helping hand:
