Have each guest write a favorite memory of your Mom and put it on a 3x5 card (you can pass one out to them ahead of time). Have them give it to you to put into a small album to present to her...can include photos, too. Or have them write down their memories at the party...that would work, too.
Have a game where guests have to guess "favorite things" about her: her favorite color, her childhood nickname if she had one, her first pet, etc.
Take lots of group family photos.
Have each family create their own "kitchen angel" ...you buy sets of kitchen towel, potholder, and dishcloth (find cheap at discount stores)..can even add a wooden spoon and make these(need a package of raffia from craft store and some twist ties or pipe cleaners:

This can be their "take home" thank you gift and a remembrance of all the nice things your Mom has done.
