Which set of pots & pans should I put on my wedding registry?!

Question: Which set of pots & pans should I put on my wedding registry?
For some reason, I tend to burn most of the food I cook. I've had the best luck with T-Fal pots & pans, because of the nice nonstick bottom. Now, I'm looking for a really high-quality set of pots & pans to put on my wedding registry. Any recommendations? Thank you!

Hard anodized all clad!!!

I put Circulon on my registry, and couldn't have been more disappointed with the set. Even on sale, I would never buy Circulon again.

Since replaced it with Anodized steel pans, and just love them. I bought the JC Penny Cook's brand, but others are great too. Look into them.

My recommendation ... since non-stick pans are relatively cheap, but All Clad pans on your list. They'll last your entire marriage, and are essential in the kitchen. Yes, they are quite expensive, but you can literally pass them down to children.

The main reasons you're probably burning foods in pans that aren't non-stick is because you're using poor quality and thin metal, and/or not using the correct technique when heating the pan and oil and putting the food in.
It's really best to avoid non-stick materials when you can, and also to buy metal pans that are thick, use certain kinds of steel, and are "fully clad" meaning that the thickness goes up the sides of the pan--not just on the bottom.

Check out *my* answer from yesterday in this previous question for lots more info, as well as how to use pans so things won't burn, etc. (it has links to a couple of my previous answers about pots and pans, plus a bit more**):

(** some of those other companies/places mentioned in that answer that are starting to sell this quality of pans-pots are Better Homes & Gardens who took over the good Tramontina line, Calphalon, and believe it or not Kenmore fro Sears--"Elite" I think they're calling it...others like Wolfgang Puck are supposedly coming out with them too. . . all much cheaper than the All Clad brand! )

I would say something that doesn't have non-stick. I used to think it was awesome because I hate doing the dishes. But you can spend the same amount on a set of pans that lasts much longer. Once the non-stick coating starts to come off the pans are junk.

I would suggest a stainless steel, or copper-bottom set of pans.

here are some tips on what to look for

this is the set they suggest

http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0007KQ…

the site claims they are just as good as this set

http://www.google.com/products/catalog?h…

which is awesome imo. But expensive.

I used to sell cookware and I recommend Calphalon Professional. It does not have nonstick and will last a lifetime. I also get a nonstick frying pan that I replace every two or three years. If you burn a lot of food, turn the stove temp down.

I like T-fal pans also but the Willims sonama like looks like a great line to get those heavy iron pots. Have a great wedding.

What i like

From what I've seen on Food Network/Cooking Channel, most of the chefs/hosts use either T-Fal or Calphalon. Either one would be good.
