Go to freecycle.org and sign up for the yahoo group of your area and watch what is being offered. If you are the first to respond you usually get it!

go to www.walmart.com they give out free samples weekly
click on the tab that says NEW IN STORE and find the free sample section
You could be a secret shopper. If you have to secret shop a restaurant they'll send you a debit card to use. If you shop at a department store you can usually keep what you by while there (within a reasonable price).
