What food would you serve on corporate launch party?!

Question:

What food would you serve on corporate launch party?

Answers:
I think the real answer lies in your budget. Do you have enough to have it catered? Do you have enough for a sandwich platter or would your budget allow for shrimp cocktail?

I think the simple answer is get the nicest thing you can afford with the money you have been budgeted. Maybe have parts catered, but save some money by going to Sams or Costco and getting a fruit platter, cheese platter, and "fancy" nuts. These things are a whole lot cheaper than a caterer would charge you.

Good Luck!

I would serve chickens.

You don't serve any thing, you have the event catered, and leave it to the professionals.

Finger sandwiches, fruit and veggie platters, chicken kebobs, platter of sushi, Petite roll ups, and a small assortment of deserts. That is just a small suggestion.

Depends... is this a sit down event or stand up or are you going to cook or cater?. Stand up=deli sandwiches. Sit down= lasagna salad, and bread

Italian food- I think it's most "well-known" and there's a lot of variety to suit everyone's taste...for example, meatless lasagna and eggplant parmesan for those who don't eat meat.

I agree with going meatless. Alot more people have gone meatless and vegetarian friendly food will please everyone.

I'd say do Penne with light garlic sauce topped with steamed broccoli and other veggies. Serve Whole wheat rolls and a green salad with it.

Panini sandwiches, salad, cold salads (pasta/potato/cous cous)....try to stick with foods that can be eaten without a mess...avoid soups and sauces if possible. However, if it also has to be upper scale and more gourmet...Salmon/Rice/Mixed Veg. usually works for females while men will prefer a meat so you can offer that choice also.....ie" Veal Scallopini/Chicken Marsala.....bon appetito!
Katz: You can't be serious...no meat and wheat rolls....they'll never ask her to get lunch again!!

Canapes easy and elegant to eat, fresh shelled prawns w lime leaf mayo, goats cheese frittata w asparagus and pancetta, warm tartlets o fblue cheeseand caramelised onion, peking duck pancakes, seared scallops on truffled cauliflower puree on a silver spoon, chicken & chive bite size sandwiches. Serve good champange, white wine, italian mineral water and pink grapefuit juice. get a sexy florist to bring great buds!

peanut butter sandwich.....serves to gum up their mouth...too!

finger food and food that dont get messy. like club sandwich but bite size.

Wraps would be very healthy. You know, like the chicken wraps?

canapes and champagne, but get a great chef to cater for it, one that does fine dining food.

It's a LAUNCH party? Serve Tang.

It went to space already.

call a caterer and have them give you suggestions and you pick from that based on what you think the guests like or may ahve commented on that they like or dont like. If folks are in formal-wear, surely dont serve meatballs. Also perhaps select something the local area is famous for and that out of town folks may appreciate. i.e. crab dip on the east, or salmon in the west.

I agree with answer 2 but that's up to you
