Serving Creme Brulee?!
Is creme brulee served hot directly from the oven, slightly cooled or room temperature?

Cooling at room temp allows the inside to become more custardy. Its delish!
You make the custard and chill it
Before serving, you sprinkle sugar on top and create the caramelized top
So the custard is still cold but the top may be warm
if served right from the oven it will taste "eggy" i serve at room temp or cooled....i think cooled is best but i wouldnt seve directly from oven hope this helps
Chilled would be how it is served where I used to work.
