You sound like me my 15 I did a calender photo shoot and 13 I did a race but for my 14th I did something that was a lot of fun it was Top Chef: christmas style because my birthday is in december. I invited 6 six friends, one of my friends hates cooking so she decided to be the host and took videos all night. The rest of us got into groups of three, we had a budget of 40bucks each and like 2 to 3 hours to cook. We raced to the grocery store and each made a meal. It was a lot of fun!One group was in my kitchen and another group was in my neighbors. Another idea is a movie party. I did this for my 11th I invited 10 friends wrote a script had all of us dress up we made our own movie and then everyone took a dvd home. For my sisters birthday we did a survivor party which if you haven't seen the show its basically where people go in a plane to a mysterious island stay there for 35 days in two groups and do different challenges. Since you don't want what others do for their sweet sixteen, then i recommend that you go on a mini vacation with your friends to a warm remote island, depending on your taste, and have like a little party or you could just ask your parents to you and your friends to a restaurant (or restaurants) of your choice and have fun. But keep in mind: No Food Fights. X)

i never have giant party's, usually i invite like fifteen people, have some food like pizza, chips, cake, and some music. and people come, dance, eat, and talk. if you want you could have some games, or if you have a theme that always helps.

Birthday parties are over rated and immature. Besides, isn't sixteen years old too old to be having your parents to throw you a birthday party? Just do something like dinner with your family or friends instead.

go to a hangout place you like (restraunt) with your friends. some places even have employees dress up and bring a cake and sing a song. one place would be king's hawaiin.
