Ideas for an Oscar-themed party?!
I'm hosting an Oscar-night party and was wondering if anyone had some original and simple ideas for decoration, food or anything else that pops into your head.
I'm not an American, so I would also like to know what are typical American snacks for this classy event. (I already have the New-York style Cheesecake and the typical Brownie covered :P)

If you can find movie trivia games (Trivial Pursuit), or make up a trivia game of your own.
Maybe you can try decorating the food table as it would look in one of the movies: the head table from 'Harry Potter', or a Cafe Americana table from 'Casablanca'.
If you can get some movie posters (check with a local theater), use them!
