Harry Potter party for 13 year olds?? Getting them to dress up?!

Ask them what they think. Some people love dressing up, others not so much.

Definitely sounds good! Most 13 year olds I know love Harry Potter. They can dress up by using graduation gowns as robes or actually getting real costumes from ebay or costume shops. In the movies, the kids wear a lot of muggle clothing too so it'd be OK for those who didn't want to. Hope it's a success! Have fun!

I think that it is a great plan, I'm 20 and a huge HP fan (I have a whole slytherin costume). They don't have to go totally dressed but if they don't have some glasses with tape, lightning scars, death eater tattoos, ties, etc.. on hand. If they are fans like you they will be excited and enjoy the party and will dress up.

I,m sure it would go down very well and the costumes wouldn,t be too difficult for your guests to arrange.(Just don,t give them any Bertie Bott,s every flavoured jelly bean!!)
