Question: How would I throw a Murder Mystery Birthday party?

I'm turning 16 and i want to have a somewhat formal party, but i dont want it to be akward and boring so i figured I would throw a murder mystery party but i want it to be kinda like a cocktail party where everyone wears black and white, except for me. I've found a few kits online but they are all for small groups and i'm planning on inviting about 60 people and expect around 40 to show up. I was also wondering if there was a site that lets you specify some of the details for the story???

Usually for a large group, the main parts are played by a smaller number of people. No body, not even the actors know the murderer and everyone (even if they're not an actor) can help solve the mystery. Of course, everyone can also get dressed up if you go that route.

Also, I know that some of the mysteries on this site do allow you to specify some of the details which would be perfect for a birthday party.

Maybe you could be the "victim" and leave a note, then the body disappears and you appear as an uninvited guest or something, or make your parents the suspects or something. idk but it sounds awesome!
