Question: Ideas for a birthday party?
My seventeenth birthday party is coming up and I have no idea what to do ... It's going to be small because I'm home schooled but I don't want to do the cheesy sleepover that you did when you were six and your parents refused to let you have more than three or four people over xDDD I want something fun and original but within reason x3

Do you have a basement/downstairs? My friends's neice had a "glow n the dark" party. Glow sticks, bracelets, necklaces, etc. All the girls were to wear something that glowed in the dark like shoes strings, hair accessories, etc.

Everyone was to bring a t-shirt and we provided glow n the dark fabric pens & paint to decorate them any way they want. We had black lights downstairs and a dj. everything was glow n the dark (decorations, tablecloth, & a party ball light) FUN FUN FUN!!!!

How about a bellydance party? You can find someone locally who teaches it. Decorate a room to look like a harems tent with pillows and low lights. The dancer can bring hip scarves, veils, drums, finger cymbals and teach a few fun moves. For food you can have a hummus and tabouleh platter with veggies and pita bread. For dessert Baklawa. Sounds like a blast for a seventeenth birthday party celebration.
