How can I make a boring birthday party more fun?!

Question: How can I make a boring birthday party more fun?
So I am turning 23 tomorrow and because of a stalker and abusive ex boyfriend I had to leave my college last year and could not tell my friends. So needless to say I lost all my college friends. This is my first birthday not having my friends to celebrate with. So I am going out with my boyfriend, brother, his girlfriend and a few mutual friends. We are going to dinner then going out for drinks, but I can't help but feel a little like they are hanging out with me out of pity because of what happened. Any suggestion of how to make this birthday fun for everyone else? Or am I being a little to uptight about the whole situation?

First of all. Don't dwell on it. These people (your boyfriend, brothers & friends) enjoy your company and mostly likely they aren't doing it out of pity. This is a perfect time to renewal yourself & your life. So start having fun, be the girl that love to have fun.
As for party night plan...

1. Dinner

2. Your Open Options: (Don't forget camera... if you have a great cell phone that take great pics, then you all set to party.)
Karaoke
Rolling skating... be young again
Bowling Alley... it actually fun, make silly rules, just as missed a pin, gotta drink a shot or a beer.
Concert
Dance Club
Jazz Club
Home Sport Game
Comedy Show
Casino Show plus Bar, plus Gambling... reason to get all doll up.
I once got a taxi to drive me and my friends to all places of where the fun are held at... we giggles and beyond had a great time, greatest night, greatest memories... we took tons of pictures. Taxi wasn't cheap though... spend over $165 with tips. It was worth it.

Enjoy your night... have a great time, make it a new year resolution for yourself. New life is a great beginning.

i say don't look for an answer to this question.Because if you do...you might be disappointed.Bottom line..there are a few of you, just go with it.
