For a child's 1st birthday party you shouldn't be having it at a place with a dance floor. 1st Birthdays can be very overwhelming for small children. If weather in your area is nice, try a park. If the weather isn't nice, try a house party or rent a reception style hall, if you have the money. But don't go over the top. This is to celebrate your baby's 1st birthday, not your birthday.

Maybe instead of partying you should be taking care of your baby.
