I'm nervous about my party?!

Question: I'm nervous about my party?
So its my 16th birthday house party and I've invited around 50-55 people to my house, they will be a lot of alcohol and music. I'm nervous incase not many people end up coming and it turns into a complete disaster and everyone goes reallly early, I can't stop thinking about it and if I keep worrying I won't be able to enjoy it.
Also, this boy I like is coming and I won't to "impress" him, I can't do that if hardly anyone turns up!

Answers:

listen , dont worry about it ! i just had my 16th birthday and i was doing the sameee exact thingg . i had about 55 people RSVP but then the day of my party , a bunchhh of people said they couldnt come . so i was freaking out the wholee day . but then , i got to my party and there was still a lot of people there ! and it was better than i was expecting it to be . so just chill outt , and get excited !

You should be MORE worried about the fact you're hosting an underage drinking party and someone might call the cops and they show up at your door...your parents hauled off to jail, too.

This is NOT the way to "impress" a boy: the message it sends out is that you don't follow rules because you're immature and don't care about getting anyone else in trouble....this is not the kind of girl a boy wants to take home to meet his family...not a girl he's going to respect and keep and marry someday.

If kids want to be treated like adults>>>then they have to act like one and learn to be responsible.

If I were you, I wouldn't be worried about people showing up. I would be worried about the alcohol you're planning on serving. If you get caught you will be in huuuuge trouble and instead of enjoying the rest of your birthday, you will be going to jail.

You shouldn't have to serve alcohol to "impress" people. If the alcohol does "impress" them, then you're not hanging around with the right type of people.

So, my advice? Don't serve alcohol. Instead serve a yummy punch or non-alcoholic fruit drink. Look here for some good recipes:

Don't worry about people showing up! I'm sure they will and you'll have a great time!

Have a good weekend(:
