What gets diet coke out of a white rug?!

Question:

What gets diet coke out of a white rug?

please tell me!

Answers:
With white, you need to go to Wal-Mart get some carpet cleaner used in their rental carpet cleaning machines. Hot water activates this solution and it should do the trick. In the event the rug is expensive, the hot water will not harm it. If the rug is cheap, don't allow the water to get too hot, the rubber support on the back will be damaged.

a new white rug

bleach or
fire

peroxide!

Bleach and hot water. Let it sit for a couple of minutes.

blot it to get as much out as possible and then try peroxide or if you try bleach, MIX IT WITH WATER or it will eat the rug. Also, with bleach, don't just pour it on, use a rag to blot at it. At the grocery store you can buy Spot Shot, which works really, really well. Then, don't drink soda on the rug anymore...

Club soda. Bleach can still cause dotting on a white rug. You can also try a cheap white wine. That works pretty good

Oxyclean works great!

bleach it, then scrub for a sec or two then let it set

Other than replacing the rug? I've used Tide pen's on just about everything, try that.

A steam cleaner

a big straw

another bubbly but light soda, soda water would be prefereable, it has no chance of chance of the slightest transfer like 7up or sprite, then shampoo if a large spot or for a small spot use a toothbrush 3 times water, bit of soap and a brush small to get the syrup and stickyness out
