Both are narcotics from the same "family" and generally used for pain relief. Both taken incorrectly can be addicting.
The only real difference that I am aware of is a persons individual sensitivity to one or the other... and in general hydrocodone is used more frequently with fewer side effects and patient reaction.

Neither. Both are opiates and if you get hooked on an opiate, you're done!! Fewer than 10% of opiate addicts kick the habit. Stay away - stay very far away.
Hydrocodone. It already has Tylenol in it so don't take tylenol with it. Be careful. Its very addicting. Sorry about your problem.

they are the same thing basicly. Hydrocodone is a tad bit weaker than oxycodone. my husband is a spine surgeon and he says they work the same. Hydrocodone is like taking 800 mgs of advil. same thing.
