Sleepover food and idea's for things to do.?!
Answers:
Haha the whole point of a sleepover is chaos, at least in my experience. It makes for more fun. So don't worry about not being able to fit everyone in your house.
About the food, I think finger food would be good, like simple things you can heat quickly in the oven, e.g. spring rolls, sausage rolls, maybe some little sandwiches.
Hope that helps! And happy birthday in advance!
For snacks...having something salty and something sweet is good. Like popcorn, chips (and salsa if you want)...a good chocolate treat is this:
Make a batch of brownies (Pillsbury chocolate chunk is a good choice, or use what brand you have and can add some choc chips to batter). But before you pour it into an 8inch or 9inch pan...line the bottom and sides of pan first with foil so foil hangs out on the sides...then spray with cooking spray>> Have oven preheated at 350^F.
Spread evenly in pan...bake for 29 to 32 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool completely...then place in freezer for 20 minutes for ease in cutting.
Cut into bite-size pieces. Put on skewers or fancy party picks alternating with fresh fruit like strawberries, kiwi, bananas, green grapes to make kabobs. (Don't make huge pieces of brownie..just bite size.). Then place a can of Chocolate Fudge Frosting into a microwave-safe bowl. (Can stir 2 teaspoons of instant coffee granules with 1 teaspoon water until dissolved and blend into the frosting). Microwave on high for 20 seconds. Dip kabobs into the mocha fondue. You get about 10 servings.
For activities: get a deck of cards and play SPOONS...you need 1 less spoon than the number of girls playing....see online rules for playing.
Can get pack of those "Mad Libs" where you fill in the blanks to make funny sentences.
Can play games with candy bars (just google "Candy bar games")
Get a couple favorite movies that everyone would like, crowd together and have a fun birthday! Don't worry about being cramped...that's what those parties are all about!
