How can I get my MIL to leave work to get her to the surprise party at my house?!
We are having a surprise party for my Mother In Law this weekend. Her boss knows about the party and is OK with her leaving work...the problem is that my MIL won't leave until all of the prep work (she is a cook) is complete...she is stubborn like that! What "emergency" can we have or what urgent situation can we create to get her to leave and come to my house where the party is?!

this is awesome my mil is a cook also, however, i would never throw her a prty lol....
do u have childern> say u need her 2 watch them asap while u.. then mumble like ur in a hurry.
or call her and say u left ur stove on and u need her to turn it off asap.
or tell her ur hubby planned a nice lunch 4 her so she needs to look surprised when she comes over
