don;t get mad when someone asks for your number. just give a fake one.

i was a hostess right after i turned 18....just always smile, hold the door open with your back side with maybe 4 menus in your hand. face customers when u talk to them but walk in fron of them to show them their seat. hand them the menus 1 at a time after they are seated and hand them to the women first. its simple as long as u seem nice and happy u wont get in trouble if u mess up a little. also they will most likelygive u someone to shadow for a few days to show u the ropes. it isnt hard. you'll do just fine
