Is it acceptable to serve your guests with plastic/paper plates and cups?!

Question: Is it acceptable to serve your guests with plastic/paper plates and cups?
Bec you don’t want to worry about washing your dishes after a long night

Answers:

tell you what , set out both sets of dishes and put up a sign " you will wash your own dishes" and see which one gets used

If everyone is dressing nicely-I would use real plates and silverware. Eating with plastic is not good--it should only be used as needed. If this is a outdoor function, plastic is okay.

I think if you were entertaining outside and people were eating outside it would be acceptable, but if you are eating inside and it's kind of a nice occasion then you should probably use dishes!

It really depends on who they are, and the reason for the gathering. Youngish friends/people your age, fine. Parents and grandparents, generally no.

Depends on who your guests are, and if this bbq food? You dont want to be serving a steat on paper plates.

Not for a formal dinner party. If it's a casual gathering then sure.

Go for it!
