I'll Keep My Answer Kind Of Short,, Yet Simple.. Ish(:
First Off Does She Like Spicy Foods?
If So I'd Go With Cabbage Soup. Its Not Extremely Spicy But It Has A Little Kick. But Its AMAZING, Definitely Worth It.

Cabbage Soup Ingredients:
1 medium onion, quartered and sliced thin
3 medium cloves garlic, chopped
1 tsp minced jalapeno pepper
2 tsp cumin
1 Tbsp dry mustard
5 cups + 1 Tbsp vegetable broth
2 Tbsp fresh lemon juice
2 medium sized red potatoes cut in ?? inch cubes, about two cups
1 15oz can diced tomatoes
3 cups thinly sliced Savoy cabbage,
black pepper to taste.

Directions:
Heat 1 tbsp of broth in a medium soup pot.
Add onion and saut?? for about 5 minutes. Stir in garlic and jalapeno. Continue to saut?? for another minute.
Stir in cumin and mustard, and add broth and rest of ingredients except cabbage, salt and pepper.
Simmer for about 30 minutes, uncovered.
Add cabbage, and cook for another 5 minutes.
Season with salt and pepper to taste.

That Serves About Four People.

Now if She Doesnt Like Spicy Then Maybe Go For Something More Simple, Yet Awesome..(:
Such As;; Frito Chili Pie?.
Frito Chili Pie Ingredients:
* 3 cups Fritos corn chips
* 3/4 cup chopped onion
* 1 cup grated cheddar cheese
* 2-1/2 cups chili (your favorite -- homemade, canned, whatever)
Directions:

Preheat oven to 350°F.

Spread 2 cups of Fritos in a baking dish. Sprinkle half the onion and half the cheese over the Fritos. Pour the chili over the onion and cheese. Sprinkle the remaining Fritos, onion and cheese over the chili.

I Hope This Helps I Really Do!!

As For A Cake;; If You Were To Make Onee.. Buy Pillsbury Chocolate Cake And Strawberry Icing-- Best Cake Evr;; My Opinion(:

Braised duck with plum sauce, and some vegetables is lovely

http://www.ifood.tv/recipe/braised-duck-…

you dont need to follow the recipe exactly, Just read it so you have an idea.

First i would pan fry the duck legs, or breast and sear both sides and cook them so they are rare.
Then in the same pan i would add fresh chopped up plums, and a little chicken stock to reduce the plums in, then once the sauce has reduced, put the duck legs or breast back into the pan, add plenty of seasoning, and cook the duck in the sauce how much you like (IE medium rare, medium, well cooked)

Also you can add spices such as star anise and a cinnamon stick, however don't put in powder ones, just put them in the sauce to infuse and then take them out (use a fresh cinnamon stick, not the dry powdered stuff)

So breakfast and dinner, ey? here are some other ideas you might find helpful:
