What food could I make for a 50th birthday party?!

i would just get some simple fod like nuts and grapes and get a big bowl and put loads of crisps in there. but some people might get hungry so put out some kebabs on a stick of just potato wedges and some fairy cakes, i know they arnt very manly but everyone loves them
